Patients may make appointments at any time of the week. Call the office at 713-799-8994 to schedule an appointment.

Getting Here:

Park in the garage. Enter the building  via the parking garage entrance. Take the elevator to the 11th floor. The Hammill Clinic is located in Suite 1160.

Flex Pay:

We understand that the cost of healthcare is a significant factor in the lives of transgendered individuals. We therefore make every effort to accommodate the patient's budget as much as possible. If you are experiencing financial problems, be sure to make prior payment arrangements with the office manager before your appointment.  Dr. Hammill will work with low-income transgender patients on a sliding scale, case-by-case basis. 

Hormones are prescribed on a case-by-case basis. It is preferred, but not required that patients present a letter from a therapist indicating that cross-sex hormone therapy is advised. Dr. Hammill requests that his patients receive some type of support while going through the process of transition.

Minimally, we suggest that patients attend at least one of the many transgender support group meetings in Houston during their transition process. It is strongly recommended that  patients seek therapeutic support through this difficult process. Contact the Transgender Resource Center at 713-526-0555 (Select the TG  Services option) for information about free transgender meetings as well as counseling options that include both standard and sliding-scale fee payment schedules.
